There is no school for West Des Moines Community Schools students Wednesday, Feb. 12, due to severe weather conditions.

Zac Sinram, associate principal and activities director at Indian Hills Junior High, has been named the next director of athletics and activities at Valley High School. Sinram takes over for Brad Rose, who will retire after a decorated 16-year career at Valley.
